As requested here is the recipe for Golden Milk. This recipe has been used historically to treat numerous stomach and intestinal issues such as IBS.
To get the most out of the benefits, drink at least 1-2 cups per day. Its also very imp not to omit any part of the recipe as each constituent part is vital to the effectiveness of the whole part. For instance, Turmeric contains a compound called Curcumin which is the vital part of the recipe, however the body cannot readily absorb curcumin into the intestines on its own, so the recipe calls for black pepper. One of the active components in black pepper, piperine, is known to help us absorb the curcumin when they interact with each other. You can adjust up the volumes of each component to make a larger batch that you can leave in the fridge and leave for later use after being reheated.
4 cups milk (cow, oat or nut is fine)
2tsp ground turmeric or 2” freshly grated turmeric root
2pcs cinnamon stick
1” chunk of fresh ginger sliced
Big pinch of black pepper
Add all the ingredients together and simmer for 5-10 minutes on a low heat then strain and drink warm. If you want you can add some honey for a little sweetness. For some extra flavour, sprinkle with cinnamon.
